It seems very soon to be thinking about this, but the Totnes Rare Breeds opening date for 2011 has just been set at 9th April, the first day of the Easter holidays.
So thats 116 days to finish the building projects, introduce the new animals, get all the goats pregnant, re-seed the lawns, repaint the woodwork, and somehow de-mud everywhere! At the moment the earth alternates between hard as iron and squishy as custard.
So let's all look forward to Easter 2011, when everything will have defrosted, hedgehogs and tortoises will have crawled out of hibernation, and there will be leaping lambs, cheeping chicks and cheeky goats.
