On Saturday the 18th of July 2015, our alpaca Mocha gave birth to a beautiful baby girl called Caramel! She is getting on very well with her sister Camomile seen in the back of the picture below and we couldn't be happier. She is our first baby alpaca to have a mixture of markings on them, with her white neck and brown body, whereas our other alpacas have all been pure white with the odd brown markings. We're pleased to say she is doing well and is a very healthy baby.

Why not come over to meet her? She would love to meet you!

Our Alpacas have recently been sheered and we have a few bags of Alpaca Fibre for sale! If you would like to purchase some, then either come in and speak to a member of staff or contact us via email/phone. We only have a few bags so please be quick to make sure you get it first!

Today (24th June 2015) our first ever Angora x Pygmy baby was born! He is called Archie and would love to meet you all!

Archie

He looks very much like a baby pygmy (despite being a lot bigger than them when they were born!) apart from his very curly hairs over his body. His mother Rag has done an amazing job even though this is her first time and she did it with out any help. We are hoping our other Angora Goats are pregnant and more babies are on the way, hopefully any day!

We hope to see you soon.

The new season has had an amazing start, welcoming back many volunteers and lots of rememberable faces such as yourself. Coming into the summer term we have had many new arrivals on the farm, such as baby pygmy goats, a baby alpaca (only one as of yet) and some new volunteers but we're expecting more babies soon!

So why not come on down to say hello to them all?

We're sure they'll love the attention!
